How to Report a Problem

If you have any problems, questions or wish to offer feedback on any of our Products please email our customer care team customerservices@wishbone.golf

When contacting us with a warranty problem please provide the following information:

·          Copy of proof of original purchase from an authorised retailer

·          A precise description of the defect (including pictures or videos where possible)

Warranty Conditions

1.        The Product must have been purchased from an approved dealer or distribution partner of Wishbone Golf Ltd.

2.        Defects are eliminated either through repair or replacement at the discretion of Wishbone Golf Ltd. The manufacturer covers the labour and material costs for either repair or replacement. This does not result in an extension of the warranty period. Additionally, this does not result in a refund or reduction of the original purchase price. Wishbone Golf Ltd will only be responsible for repairs or replacement of the actual product. Compensation for any other 3rd party damages is not covered under this warranty.

3.        Should Wishbone Golf Ltd choose to replace the product, then the replacement product should be identical, of similar kind and/or value.

4.        Any transportation costs related to the return of the product to a local Wishbone service centre will be paid by the customer. Repaired or replaced units will be returned to the customer free of charge.

5.        This warranty does neither affect the legal consumer rights and the effective and applicable laws of the individual countries, nor the consumer rights against the dealer resulting from the purchase agreement.

6.        Excluded from the warranty are:

a.        regular product maintenance of products, such as cleaning of areas around wheel bearings, front wheel assembly area and folding hinge.

b.        repairs caused by normal or expected wear on parts;

c.         damages or defect caused by improper use of the product including the use of the product for any other than the intended purposes or handling contrary to Wishbone Golf Ltd instructions for proper handling, maintenance, care, or storage or;

d.        damages or defects caused by improper installation or handling of the product in any way in violation of the technical or safety standards of the country in which the product is used, or

e.        damage caused by overloading of the golf cart in excess of the 16kgs maximum load weight permitted.

f.         damages caused by accidents, force, lightning strike, liquid, fire, or any other imponderable risks that Wishbone Golf Ltd can neither predict nor influence;

g.        repairs, technical modifications, or maintenance carried out by the customer himself or non-authorised third parties;

h.        improper packaging or handling during transport from the customer. (Please note that proper packaging of products submitted for repairs is the responsibility of the customer.); and

i.          defects in systems to which the Wishbone Golf Ltd product is connected and/or any incompatibility with the products of other manufacturers.

Making a Warranty Claim

1.        As proof of purchase a copy of the original invoice or receipt must be included with the defective product (the proof of purchase must show the purchasing date, the product code, and the name of the dealer). Wishbone Golf Ltd reserves the right to refuse free warranty service and to send the product back at the customer's cost, should such a definitive proof of purchase be missing.

2.        A precise description of the defect needs to be included with the product.

3.        The customer may either contact an authorised Wishbone Golf Ltd dealer or directly contact Wishbone Golf Ltd at customerservice@wishbone.golf

General Warranty Limitations and Exclusions

Wishbone Golf Ltd is not liable for losses or damages, material or immaterial, such as lost profits, earnings or data resulting from product defects. Wishbone Golf Ltd does not grant a warranty for products that have not been maintained properly or where maintenance has not been carried out by qualified technical personnel. Wishbone Golf Ltd is not liable for consequential damages resulting from overloading in excess of the maximum 16kg bag load weight limit or improper maintenance of products.

NEO LITHIUM BATTERY WARRANTY CONDITIONS:

Wishbone Golf Limited (“the Supplier”) warrants each Lithium-Ion Battery as listed below sold by Wishbone Golf Limited or its authorised dealers will

(1) be free from defects in material and/or workmanship under normal use and

(2) conform to the applicable Technical Specifications for the product.

The warranty period of the battery shall be two (2) years from the date of manufacture (printed on battery case) to the period limit as below.

Charger Unit – 12 months Warranty

In addition to the product warranty, manufacturer guarantees performance of the product to be maintained at least seventy five percent (75%) of initial battery's capacity for a period of two (2) years, provided that the usage of the product shall have complied with the operating conditions under specification. Warranty only for battery but does not include charger unit.

Capacity measurement condition:

·       Ambient temperature: 77 ~ 86°F (25 ~ 30°C)

·       Initial battery temperature of  BMS: (25 ~ 30°C)77 ~ 86°F

·       Charging/discharging method

If the battery complied with the operating conditions under specification becomes unserviceable (not merely discharged) due to defect in material and /or workmanship within the warranty period, manufacturer will replace the battery free of charge except the warranty exclusions listed below.

(1) The above warranty does not include labour or transportation costs, etc. These costs are the responsibility of the user.

(2) This Limited Warranty is to the original purchaser of the Product and is not transferable to any other person or entity.


BATTERY WARRANTY DISCLAIMER

The Manufacturer has no obligation under this Limited Warranty for Product subjected to the following conditions (including but not limited to): Damage caused during shipping or mishandling of the Product

Damage due to improper installation;  incorrect connections (series and parallel) for desired voltage and AH requirements, reverse polarity connections or insufficient space for airflow around the battery.

·         Environmental damage: inappropriate storage conditions as defined by the Manufacturer; exposure to extreme hot or cold temperatures, fire or freezing, or water damage

·         Damage caused during operation; by collision or over-discharging the Product as defined by the Manufacturer Damage due to improper maintenance; under-or over-charging the Product.

·         Product that has been modified by anyone other than a Manufacturer representative Tampering or removal of manufacture date codes

·         Product that was used for applications other than which it was designed and intended for Product that was under-sized for the application

·         Product not stored in adherence to the Manufacturer's storage guidelines

This Limited Warranty does not cover a product that has reached its normal end of life due to usage which may occur prior to the Warranty Period. A battery can deliver only a fixed amount of Energy over its life which will occur over different periods of time depending on the application. The Manufacturer reserves the right to deny a warranty claim if the Product is determined, upon inspection, to be at its normal end of life even if within the Warranty Period.

This limited warranty is in lieu of, and manufacturer refuses and excludes, all other express warranties. Manufacturer further limits the duration of all, whether statutory, express, or implied warranties, including, without limitation, any warranty of merchant ability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the warranty period. Manufacturer's exclusive liability for breach of any warranty on the Battery shall be to replace the Battery within the warranty period in accordance with the terms of this limited warranty. In no event shall Manufacturer be liable for any loss or damages of any other kind, whether direct, incidental, consequential including lost profits, exemplary, special, or otherwise, including any lost profits or removal, shipping, or installation expenses.

EXCEPT FOR THE WARRANTY SET FORTH ABOVE, SELLER MAKES NO WARRANTY WHATSOEVER WITH RESPECT TO THE GOODS, INCLUDING ANY (A) WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY. OR (B) WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE; WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED BY LAW, COURSE OF DEALING, COURSE OF PERFORMANCE, USAGE OF TRADE OR OTHERWISE.

LITHIUM BATTERY & CHARGER LIMITED WARRANTY 

Manufacturer will not be responsible for any expenses for transportation, installation, freight, recharging, electrical system tests, loss of time, loss of use of equipment, service calls, labour, use of rentals or other expenses which would be considered as incidental or consequential damages. The only remedy available under this warranty is Battery replacement. 

LITHIUM BATTERY & CHARGER LIMITED WARRANTY

To submit a warranty, claim please contact your retailer or regional distributor, details can be found on our Distributors link at the top of this page. If the battery needs to be returned for inspection, return the battery at your expense. Acceptance of the battery for inspection does not mean the Manufacture will accept the warranty claim.
